During the Dec. 15 meeting the Libby City Council approved several routine items by motion: multiple alcohol license applications (American Legion, Cabinet Mountain Brewing, Cabinet View Country Club, Cross Cut Casino, Gold Pan, Kaiju, Libby Empire Foods, Maggie's Casino 2, Poe Sam's, Red, White, and Brews), a coin‑operated amusement license for the American Legion, and a slate of business licenses (Great Day Improvements LLC; Lincoln County Tree Service; Paramedic Professional Inc.; Sassy Crafters). The council also approved claims presented at the meeting.

One councilor recorded an abstention on the alcohol license motion. Planning‑board membership adjustments and reappointments (including Kristen Smith and Gail Berger in roles noted by the mayor) were approved by motion. The council closed general business with expressions of thanks to outgoing members and adjourned.
