The council also presented a proclamation celebrating Tord Carmel on his 100th birthday; Councilmember Urban Carmel and family members responded with thanks and brief remarks.
Tammy Herndon presented United Against Hate Week activities — student art collaborations with the Mill Valley School District, a community film produced by Tam High graduate Ara Terrell, and a trunk‑or‑treat partnership — and Kelsey Rogers read the resolution for council consideration. After a motion and second, the council voted by roll call to adopt the resolution unanimously.
No public testimony altered the proclamations or the resolution; the council took a group photo after the vote.
