Germantown board approves 2026-27 calendar, accepts donations and green-lights climbing wall and contracts

On professional development, the teaching and learning committee moved a recommendation to approve an amended agreement with CESA 6’s math center for additional in-person coaching and district in-service training using Title II funds. The teaching & learning presentation stated the amount as “not to exceed $99,127”; the finance committee later described the motion on the floor as “not to exceed $9,127.” The transcript contains both figures; the board approved the contract motion as presented at the full board meeting.
Finance items also included a favorable 2024-25 audit presented to trustees and the purchase of two used transit vans for approximately $14,000 each (plus fees) intended for use and maintenance by the high-school auto program. The board approved those routine finance items by voice vote.
