The school committee voted to accept the superintendent's 2024-25 evaluation and recorded an extension of the contract term tied to a proficient rating.

Vice Chair Tony Rodriguez summarized the evaluation process, noting members reviewed evidence across four standards: instructional leadership; management and operations; family and community engagement; and professional culture. The evaluation materials included three representative comments from each member and the committee's composite comments.

Committee members praised the superintendent's leadership in addressing last year's fiscal and operational challenges and said the process was professional and thorough. A motion to approve the evaluation as "proficient," which under the superintendent's contract triggers a contract extension, was made and passed unanimously by raised hands.

The committee requested that the public evaluation document and members' ratings be posted on the district website, and members discussed making past superintendent evaluations available for public review.
