The Huron City Commission voted Jan. 5 to approve a transfer of an alcoholic beverage license for a local events venue.

Pauline Carey explained the transfer during the public hearing, saying the license is moving from previously licensed operators described in the staff report as Top Floor and Here & Events to Dakota 10 LLC (transcribed in the record as "Dakota 1 0, LLC"). "We have received no comments and we recommend approval of the transfer," Carey said.

A motion to approve the transfer was made and seconded during the meeting and the commission conducted a roll-call vote. Commissioners called by name on the roll returned votes recorded as Aye; the motion carried.

The license transfer was handled as agenda item 6.2 and the meeting record indicates no public opposition was presented at the hearing.
