The Weber County Commission approved Resolution 01-2026 Tuesday to appoint Will Donovan to the Powder Mountain Water and Sewer Improvement District board.
Stacy Skeen told commissioners that Robert Bingham resigned because of a new venture that created a conflict of interest, prompting a midterm vacancy. "I received notice from the Powder Mountain Water and Sewer Improvement District that Robert Bingham was resigning from his position on the board," Skeen said, and the county posted for the vacancy and received three qualified applications.
Commissioner Jim Harvey moved to appoint Will Donovan to fill the remainder of Bingham's term through Dec. 31, 2028; the commission approved the resolution by roll call vote. The resolution was entered as 01-2026.
The appointment fills a district board seat; no additional budgetary changes or program directives were described in the presentation.
