Weber County commissioners elect new chair, name vice chair for 2026

In remarks before the vote, commissioners lauded outgoing chair Sharon Bolos for her recent work. "You've served very well, and your willingness to go above and beyond," a commissioner said, thanking Bolos for leadership during major projects and transitions.
The leadership changes were handled under the commission's routine annual reorganization. No substantive policy action accompanied the appointments; the new chair then continued the meeting's agenda.
