Committee reviews tomorrow’s agency schedule, notes multiple callbacks and adjourns

A brief committee meeting concluded after staff reviewed the schedule for the next day and noted several expected callbacks.

Speaker 2 told the committee that tomorrow’s agenda will begin with the Collection Agency Board and move to the Department of Audit, followed by the Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission, the Wyoming Water Development Commission and state engineer, and a special-request presentation from the Wyoming Charter School Board, whose chairperson will present. “Tomorrow is Wednesday. You'll start off with the collection agency board and move to the Department of Audit,” Speaker 2 said.

Speaker 2 also said there is one callback already scheduled for the Business Council and that the remainder of callbacks are set for Friday. He listed four Friday callbacks: the Livestock Board, the University of Wyoming, State Parks and Cultural Resources, and the Treasurer’s Office. He added that the Treasurer’s Office is prepared to address its callback when it presents a letter and that it has an executive letter concerning a University of Wyoming capital construction loan; no decision or vote on that loan appeared in this session.

Speaker 1 asked whether the Secretary of State had been scheduled and confirmed present. Speaker 2 said the Secretary of State had been scheduled for the afternoon, but because the committee’s requesters had their questions resolved, the Secretary’s presence was not necessary; Speaker 2 said the Secretary of State nevertheless did attend and that the chairs acknowledged that.
