A member nominated Sabrina Petrie as chair for the coming year; the nomination was approved by voice vote and Petrie assumed the gavel. Nominations for vice chair produced a runoff between Ralph Burgess and Gerald Burns; members voted by show of hands and elected Ralph Burgess with three votes to one for Burns. The committee then moved to adopt the December minutes; the motion passed by voice vote.
During open comments, members identified infrastructure priorities beyond water — including highway-capacity projects and expansion of community sewer systems — and emphasized that potable water, sewer and transportation together support economic growth. After general discussion the committee agreed to research recommended next steps and then adjourned by voice vote.
