The board discussed several item types: light/protection identification, signage above fire extinguishers, sidewalk repairs and qualified-electrician work. Commissioners suggested signage over extinguishers is inexpensive and feasible, while replacing damaged sidewalks may require formal bids. On electrical work, staff recommended hiring a qualified electrician under county spending protocol rather than issuing a competitive bid for each small job.
Commissioners asked staff to coordinate with departments including the sheriff and fire to complete items, to provide photographic evidence upon completion and to return to the commission with an update on or before the next scheduled meeting.
