District staff said state report‑card data and district records feed those measures and pledged to provide periodic summaries (including credit‑recovery numbers and evaluation materials) this year.
The board also discussed changes to DE definitions that add a fifth criterion for “potential dropout,” focusing on kindergarten and third grade, and asked staff to confirm whether that change alters how elementary students are identified in district processes. Members asked for clarification about professional development entries, whether the SRO has delivered classroom presentations and how such events are scheduled, and whether IJAG eligibility indicators should be noted in the plan. Staff said they would follow up on each item.
After discussing the requested edits and clarifications, the board recorded a motion and second to adopt item 5.1 “as presented with follow on corrections and suggestions” and approved it by voice vote. Staff will incorporate the editorial and content changes and distribute an updated packet.
The board did not record a roll‑call vote; the motion was approved by voice vote during the meeting.
