The Marshall Public School District board reviewed and approved its committee and advisory committee assignments for the coming year.

Board members discussed placements for executive governance, facilities, performance oversight, finance and continuous improvement committees, and advisory groups including career and technical education (CTE) advisory committees, community services, staff development, technology and emergency preparedness. The board noted facilities work will likely center on LTFM funding and that technology committee activity has been quiet in recent years.

Several members volunteered for specific advisory roles and the chair said the assignments would be reflected in minutes. The board approved the assignments by motion and voice vote.
