Emerson Park revision to MDP/CSP: 103 townhomes, half converting to one-car garages

Staff project manager Jean Sanchez summarized a revision to the Emerson Park major development plan and construction site plan at the Jan. 7 Development Review Committee meeting.
Sanchez said the project is 103 townhome units adjacent to Emerson North and the Greystone Rehab facility and that the primary change is converting about 50% of units from two-car garages to one-car garages. She said, "I think you all are pretty familiar with it," and noted that planning intends to forward the revision to the planning commission in February and to city council at its first meeting in March.
Applicant George Georgie Veil attended and offered to answer questions; none were raised by departments during the meeting. Community development and other departments reported no further comments on record.
Next steps identified by staff: the revision will proceed to public hearing before the planning commission in February and then to city council in March for final consideration.
