Committee members discussed scheduling and logistics: DayDaze features a networking day and an afternoon/evening paella event, and members recommended aiming to schedule meetings on Wednesday following the DayDaze events for better access to legislative and executive staff. Members also debated travel options and costs: direct flights from South Florida to Tallahassee were expensive on the dates reviewed; charter options and routing via Jacksonville were discussed as possible alternatives.

The committee directed staff to confirm the selected travel option and to notify the group if lower fares free resources to send a second person; if prices fall enough to accommodate a second traveler within the $3,000 allocation, members said they would consider adding another attendee.
