The board received a multi-part update including safety planning, facility projects and financial reports. The district's safety lead described monthly safety topics and said the district is using SchoolDOG software to collect safety data; he noted the safety team includes principals, SROs, the sheriff's office and 911.
On facilities and career-technical education, staff reported industry feedback for the planned LFO career-technical expansion to add firefighting and emergency-services offerings; architects are incorporating comments and staff said the project is on track for the next school year. Staff also said they are in the contractor-selection phase for roofing projects at Ringgold Elementary, Ringgold Primary and other sites, and described an early-stage privately funded Ringgold High School baseball facility upgrade that will proceed through permits with the county.
Finance director provided November 2025 figures, reporting general-fund revenues of $33,078,004.61 and expenses of $42,000,001.28, and explained the district is using a line of credit pending the seasonal influx of funds in December and January. He outlined capital-project and debt-service fund balances and previewed the tentative January budget calendar and allotment schedule changes driven by state budget law updates.
The superintendent recommended multiple consent items including human-resources recommendations, minutes and the November financial report. The board moved, seconded and approved the consent agenda unanimously; no executive session was requested and the meeting adjourned.
