Findlay council approves routine ordinances, annexation readings and committee appointments

Key votes at a glance: Council adopted Resolution 1-2026 to authorize internet auction of obsolete personal property and passed Ordinance 2026-002 establishing a restricted stormwater account required by the EPA. Organization: The council nominated and approved Nicole Coleman as president pro tem and approved formation of an ad hoc committee to review council rules; Councilmembers Needles, Smith and Preston were appointed to that committee. Denise DeVore was appointed clerk of council and will continue in that role.
