The trustee noted the lights are near the end of their life cycle and replacing all at once could be more efficient but would increase upfront cost.
The trustee also said the insurance payment was "around a $121,000" and that one assessment quote to replace the whole project was about $206,000, leaving a potential funding gap the village would have to cover. Staff cautioned the insurer might adjust the claim if additional damage were documented.
No procurement or replacement decision was made at the meeting; staff said they will proceed with an RFP or vendor selection process to clarify scope and pricing.
