The Northrop Village Board voted to grant a supplemental class B live entertainment liquor license to Marisco El Catrine Del Mar, 19 South Bridal Road, after staff said the restaurant had no reported incidents during its conditional 60‑day opening period.
Staff told the board that the restaurant received its liquor license in August and an outdoor license, then applied for the supplemental entertainment license. The board previously reviewed the matter on Dec. 15 to determine whether any incidents occurred during the conditional window. "It was determined that there were no occurrences and the board decided to move on to the village board meeting tonight for a vote to approve a supplemental entertainment live liquor license with no conditions," staff said.
Following a motion, second and roll call, trustees voted to approve the license with no conditions. No enforcement actions or complaints were raised at the meeting.
The approval allows the restaurant to host live entertainment under the terms of the supplemental license; staff did not list any additional monitoring or special conditions at the time of the vote.
