Board approves addition to livestreaming policy citing Department of Education counsel

The board approved additional language to the district’s live-streaming policy at the Jan. 6 meeting. Ms. Cartledge said the sentence was provided by Mr. Atwater, described in the meeting as the new general counsel at the South Carolina Department of Education, and that he had reviewed the policy and was "fine with it."

Speaker 6 moved to accept the policy with the highlighted additional sentence; Speaker 3 seconded and the motion passed unanimously by raised hands.
