Committee reappoints EMS advisory members, approves fire advisory representatives

Brenda Wrigley Realy, clerk of the board, presented recommendations to the committee on Jan. 7 to reappoint and add members to advisory boards. The committee approved reappointments to the Allegany County EMS advisory board for two-year terms from Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2027, and approved town representative appointments to the fire advisory board.
Wrigley read the list of reappointments and new members, which included Kevin Waters, Bonnie Van Heusen, Brian Jones, Timothy Cogel, Todd McMahon, Kellison Helms, Dennis Graves, Margaret Thompson, Thomas Sampson, Kenneth Cottrell and Neil Green; she also noted that Scott Lamphere and Kathleen K. Bushman were being recommended for appointment as new members. The committee moved, seconded and carried the resolutions.
What's next: The appointees’ terms begin Jan. 1, 2026, and staff will process official appointment paperwork and update advisory-board rosters.
