The board agreed to place the item on the February agenda for a follow-up report from staff and for commissioners to re-check district balances. Staff noted the project design timeline could permit advertising for bids as early as April if funds are secured.
No formal vote to appropriate funds was taken at the meeting; the discussion concluded with agreement to revisit the funding plan at the next regular meeting when staff will provide updated financial reports.
