The Neighborhood Improvement Commission set a new date for its annual retreat after several commissioners said they could not attend the originally scheduled Nov. 15 session.
Vice Chair Meyer said she would be unable to attend the Nov. 15 retreat; other commissioners reported conflicts as well. Commissioners discussed moving the retreat into January to give staff and commissioners time to prepare and to avoid December calendar congestion. After polling available Saturdays in January, the commission moved and voted to hold the retreat on Saturday, Jan. 10 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The motion passed by voice vote. Commissioners directed staff to finalize the retreat agenda and notify commissioners and liaisons; staff noted that the retreat materials and any deadline for submitting proposals would be handled through normal inter-commission coordination.
