The Moscow City Council on Jan. 5 approved its consent agenda, with one item (item b, payment of claims) taken off the omnibus slate for separate consideration after staff identified an omission in the published packet.
During the consent-agenda vote council initially approved the slate without item b. Council then heard a staff explanation that the packet published on Friday had excluded one week of payments; an updated report was posted to the city's website earlier the same day. Council moved and seconded to approve the full, updated list of payment claims and recorded affirmative voice responses.
Votes recorded aloud in the meeting included council members saying "Aye" for the consent agenda and for the subsequent motion to approve the corrected payment list. Where individual names were spoken on the record during the votes they included Haley, Drew, Julia, Sandra and Bryce.
What happens next: The approved payment list will be the record of payments for that period; the updated packet is available on the city website per staff remarks.
