Clifton Heights says code‑enforcement and emergency management fully staffed; will readopt emergency operations plan

Speaker 2, who leads code enforcement and emergency management for Clifton Heights, told council that staffing shortages from last year have been resolved and the department is now fully staffed after recent hires and orientation.
"They're just about done their training, and we're fully staffed," Speaker 2 said, and added the department will bring a re‑adoption of the emergency operations plan (EOP) to the council for review and will submit updated contact information for elected officials to Delaware County Emergency Services.
Speaker 2 also said Delaware County will offer a four‑hour emergency‑management course for new officials, and encouraged attendance. The speaker said staff will prepare a flyer and schedule the course dates for council members who wish to participate.
No formal council action was taken at the caucus; the manager and code‑enforcement staff said they will provide a written report at the regular meeting.
