Following elections staff announced a kickoff meeting for a comprehensive code rewrite set for January 14 at 1 p.m. Staff asked commissioners to review materials that will be distributed in advance and to note areas they want changed or preserved in the rewrite, including topics such as accessory dwelling units, short‑term rentals, and minor subdivision processing.
Commissioners said they would supply notes and consider participating in focused meetings with the consulting firm conducting the rewrite. The meeting closed after a motion to adjourn passed by recorded vote.
