Granite County road crews report grader repairs, major potholes and aging water truck; commissioners weigh cold patch purchase

Commissioners also reviewed recurring problems with a county water truck — leaks, injector trouble and a worn tank — and discussed options including trading it in or replacing it in spring when prices may be higher. Staff noted there are other water trucks in different locations (two in Bieber, one in Hull), but some units need repair.
No formal appropriation was made at the meeting; commissioners instructed staff to pursue parts and obtain cost estimates and to return with recommendations.
