The council read an appropriations ordinance (19‑14‑2024) describing line‑item increases including $1,000 for police vehicle repair and $130,000 in the water operating fund for the Fairdale Michaels project and OPS supplies; motions to dispense with additional readings and to adopt these measures were recorded with roll call votes in favor.
Council members framed several measures as emergency items "in the interest of the health, peace, and safety of the citizens" when read aloud. No motions to enter executive session were made; the body adjourned after completing the agenda.
