Councilor Colon Hayes reminded residents of a Martin Luther King Day celebration scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 18, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Carl B. Mack and partners including Malden Reads, Malden High School, Love for Kids and the Friends of the Malden Public Library.
Councilor O'Malley announced a "Tech on Your Terms" community meeting at the Malden Public Library’s Mercario Room on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m. The parent- and community-led meeting will discuss how and when children will be exposed to artificial intelligence in Malden Public Schools.
