He told commissioners the event would be similar to previous festivals, that tickets and permits were included in the meeting packet, and that organizers will keep the commission updated as plans firm up.
Unidentified Speaker 1 moved to allow use of the courthouse square for June 12–14; the motion was seconded and commissioners voted 'aye', and the motion carried.
Lowry thanked the commission for its support and said a new guest had been confirmed as of the day before the meeting. Staff and organizers agreed to continue coordination as details are finalized.
