The Las Vegas City Council on Jan. 7 approved a modified employment agreement for City Manager Mike Jansen.

Vince Zamora, the city's human resources director, told the council that Jansen is in the final year of his current agreement (ending Aug. 31, 2026) and that city staff had negotiated a modification that Jansen agreed to.
