Tony Rich was elected chair of the Milton Equestrian Committee during the group’s Jan. 7 meeting after a nomination and subsequent voice vote. An attendee identified in the record as Speaker 2 nominated Rich; committee members responded “Aye.”
The committee also elected Shannon Regan Quidley as vice chair and Teresa Jormas as secretary after separate nominations and voice votes. Following the leadership elections, Rich called the meeting to order, completed roll call and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The committee approved the meeting agenda as written and the minutes from its Nov. 19, 2025 meeting after voice‑vote motions. Staff reported there were no public comments for the meeting.
“So I will say the first year I was on the committee…,” Tony Rich said after taking the chair, reflecting on his prior experience and welcoming new members. The meeting adjourned after routine business concluded.
Formal actions recorded by the committee at the meeting include the officer elections, approval of the agenda and approval of the Nov. 19, 2025 minutes. No formal roll‑call tallies were recorded in the transcript beyond the unanimous “Aye” voice votes and standard procedural seconds.
