Economic Development Director Nick Eads introduced Trevor Workman of AAS at the Jan. 6 council meeting for a business spotlight highlighting the gym’s local history and services.
Trevor Workman described relocating AAS to Erlanger in 2019, thanked landlord support through COVID and summarized services the gym offers — including reformer and mat Pilates, personal training, group fitness and flexible payment structures intended to broaden access. "We are a 24 7, 3 65 gym offering everything from reformer, mat Pilates, personal training..." Workman said.
City Administrator Mark Collier reported two new leases at AmeriStop Plaza, said a business called Nerf Battles will open Jan. 17 at 600 Rodeo Drive (in the Beacon Enterprise complex), and noted soft openings for Dairy Queen and Jimmy John’s on Dixie Highway. Collier said the city will publicize ribbon-cutting plans and that Economic Development staff (Nick and Lauren) will assist with events. He also announced a post-secondary education scholarship application is open to any Erlanger resident; applications are due March 6 and can be dropped off at the city building or emailed to Rachel.
Collier described a completed site-preparation study for parcels across from the future dog park and said the city is awaiting further site-analysis results. Economic development and community engagement staff recently promoted the city’s 2026 event calendar on Fox 19, Collier added.
