Councilman Wolanski and Councilman Abens nominated additional candidates, including Delbert Robinson and Jason Jacobs. The council voted in the order of nominations; when the clerk read the roll for Holub the vote produced a majority in favor and the council president announced, “Congratulations, Mister Holub. You have been selected as Ward 2 representative.”
The council completed the appointment during the public portion of the meeting; no formal challenge or recount of the vote was recorded in the evening's minutes. The newly seated Ward 2 representative will assume duties consistent with council rules and local law.
