EAC supports amended site access for 3719 Union after DOT approval; work already underway

Bebout said the New York State Department of Transportation approved the modifications and that planning-board review had recommended the change; the committee moved to amend its declaration and forward the amendment to the town board.
Bebout told the committee that some curbline work and driveway reconfiguration had already been completed to meet tenant and truck-movement needs; he said the work included maintaining an existing concrete apron and adding a striped area to allow trucks to drive through where a mounted curb had been planned. Planning board recommended approval at its December meeting, and town staff did not recommend enforcement action despite on-site changes already made.
The EAC voted to amend its declaration and forward the packet to the town board for their consideration.
Next steps: the amended declaration will be placed before the town board at the next available meeting; applicant staff do not expect to be required to attend that town-board meeting.
