Planner briefs board on regional adaptation plan, GIS hire and upcoming work plan

Lupita said staff will bring several ordinances forward for cleanup to remove enforcement gray areas and suggested a workshop (less formal than a hearing) so the board and staff can discuss ambiguous ordinance language and enforcement responsibilities. Members raised public-safety concerns about long-term sidewalk closures during construction and asked staff to coordinate with the building official about pedestrian-maintenance measures and detour signage.
Lupita also said the mobility plan is moving forward and that staff will circulate documents to the board for review.
