The West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency convened on Jan. 5, 2026. A resident, Lauren Cole, used public comment to urge action on persistent north–south traffic congestion near Olive Avenue and 25th Street, saying new condos and apartments have made access worse and asking the agency to address the problem. "Please please try to fix something," she said.
The board then approved the consent calendar by motion; Madam President Roosevelt Lambert moved approval and the presiding officer announced the motion carried unanimously. No roll‑call votes with named tallies were recorded in the transcript; the mayor announced the unanimous outcome.
The CRA received two informational presentations: an update from the National Science Foundation‑funded Center for Smart Streetscapes on mobility sensors, anonymized camera analytics and public data tools, and a master‑plan and finance update for the Nora district from CRA staff and Place Projects. Commissioners praised community partnerships and asked staff to follow up on infrastructure, enforcement and connectivity topics raised during the presentations and public comment.
