Beltrami County introduces new HR director Jordan Hickman

Beltrami County welcomed Jordan Hickman as its new human-resources director during a Jan. work-session introduction. Tom, speaking for county administration, said Hickman joined the county on Dec. 1 in a part-time role and moved to full-time service on Dec. 15.
Tom told commissioners Hickman holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in political science, worked for St. Louis County earlier in his career as a personnel analyst and served the last 21 years as human-resources director at Bemidji Area Schools. "I have a great team, and I am excited to be here," Hickman said during brief remarks to the board.
Commissioners offered a short welcome; no formal action was required. The introduction was informational, part of the work-session portion of the meeting aimed at familiarizing the board with recent hires.
