Butler Avenue complete‑streets project advances in design; construction targeted for 2027

Members asked technical questions about the form of protected intersections (all at grade with corner geometry and signal timing changes, not tunnels or bridges) and how protected roundabout treatments will handle multiple lanes at Fourth Street. Staff offered to revisit Butler design plans with the committee as the project advances.
Next steps: staff will continue design work through 2026 and return with updates to the committee as milestones are reached.
