The Collingswood Board of Education voted to change its regular meeting nights from Tuesday to Thursday after board members said the change would reduce conflicts with town council meetings and individual members' work schedules.
During discussion, members noted that committee meetings would generally be held the week prior (on the Thursday before the regular board meeting) and that many committees could continue to meet remotely. One member said the recommendation to switch to Thursdays stemmed from scheduling conflicts with their job as an educator.
A motion 'to change our official meeting dates to Thursday' was moved and seconded. On the roll-call vote the following responses were recorded: Mister DeMarco — Yes; Missus Love — Yes; Missus Marmion — Yes; Mister McMillan — Yes; Mister Deasy — No; Miss Brown — Yes; Mister Guenther — Yes; Mister Tabe — Yes. The motion passed, and the clerk will publish the new schedule.
