Commissioners voted to appoint Commissioner Josh Slotnick as chair for calendar year 2026; to designate the County Administrative Building at 199 West Pine Street as the physical posting location for official notices (in addition to publication in the Missoulian); to continue the established meeting schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays for administrative meetings and the first, second and fourth Thursdays for public hearings); and to set standard office hours as Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with limited flexibility for departments as needed.
Staff also noted the county earlier adopted an updated per‑day incarceration cost for budgeting purposes during a separate administrative meeting. Commissioners concluded the meeting after adopting the required yearly resolutions and thanked attendees.
