Melanie Hicks of Dunlap & Associates told the commission that lead counsel, Mister Dunlap, had scheduling conflicts and asked that the Odessa Long estate hearing be continued until counsel could attend. Commissioners discussed next available dates and recognized the need to accommodate several beneficiaries, some traveling from out of state.
After confirming client and counsel availability, the board set the hearing for Jan. 21 at 9:30 a.m. and directed staff to include Zoom instructions in the notice so remote participation is possible. The motion to continue the hearing passed by voice vote.
