The council extended the Jones Valley Urban Farm (doing business as Jones Valley Teaching Farm) grant program (amount not to exceed $120,000) through Sept. 30, 2026; extended Tech Birmingham’s Upskilling initiative (agreement not to exceed $150,000, through March 31, 2026) and approved an amendment allowing the Birmingham Regional Paratransit Consortium to seek additional FTA funds and use operating funds for a grant match. Item 1 (a junk dealer license) was delayed for four weeks and Growing Kings program questions led to a motion to table that item for additional information.
