San Joaquin previews regular meeting agenda: employee recognition, small MOU and industrial‑park purchase agreements

The city will consider a memorandum of understanding and a licensing agreement tied to America/Utah 250 celebrations; staff said the city would receive roughly $1,500 and that the licensing agreement would govern logo use and other terms.
The Community Development and Renewal Agency also plans to consider two purchase agreements for Mahogany Land Development on Lots 7 and 8 in the industrial park and an agreement with Precision Millwork for Lot 10. Staff presented drawings that show tilt-up building designs for the industrial park lots and said those options are more economical and faster to construct than some alternatives.
Staff additionally requested direction on whether the city should require an application for accessory dwelling units, referring to a follow-up email from Jason and offering to forward Jared’s email to council members for context. Staff noted the regular meeting will include a closed session at the end.
