Amanda DeRose and Lisa Hilcher, representing the theater, said about 135 children are in their current production with approximately 55 Mill Valley residents among the cast; they noted ongoing space and housing challenges for the nonprofit.
Finally, the commission approved a 50% waiver for Lightfoot Tango's monthly social dances at the golf clubhouse. Chris Alice (Lightfoot Tango) described demand for tango events in Marin and offered potential programming collaborations in public plazas and at the library.
All three fee-waiver items were approved by motion and voice vote; no opposed votes were recorded in the transcript.
