Milton council approves two alcohol licenses for neighborhood businesses

The Milton City Council approved two alcohol-beverage licenses at the Jan. 5 meeting.
Deputy city manager Bernadette Harvill presented an application from Grama0905 LLC (doing business as Extra Mile) for retail package sales of wine and malt beverages, including Sunday sales, at 13625 Arnold Mill Road. Harvill said the public hearing was advertised and that notice postings complied with city code. There were no public comments; the council approved the license unanimously.
The council then considered Yum Thai and Sushi LLC (doing business as Yum Thai Cuisine & Bar) at 3100 Heritage Walk, Suite 102, a full-service restaurant under new ownership seeking a consumption-on-premises license for wine, malt beverages and distilled spirits. Harvill said the restaurant met seating and food-sales-ratio requirements and that required notices were posted; with no public opposition the council approved the license unanimously.
Both approvals were recorded without dissent.
