Albuquerque Public Schools board swears in new members and elects 2026 officers

New board members took the oath of office early in the meeting. Rebecca Benson, sworn in for District 3, said she was "honored to take on this responsibility and serve our community as a member of the school board," and pledged to focus on collaboration, transparency and "listening to the people closest to our students."
