The Muncie-Delaware Metropolitan Plan Commission voted unanimously to recommend four 2025 zone-map changes affecting unincorporated areas of Delaware County and forwarded those recommendations to the County Commissioners.

Director Eileen told the commission that these four county rezonings were heard during 2025, had been forwarded with a recommendation and had already received final approval from the county commissioners when appropriate. Commissioners voted to make a favorable recommendation on MPC 02-26A with seven yeses and zero noes recorded.

Staff told the commission the county commissioners would hear the matter on Jan. 20 at 9 a.m. in the same room; no amendments or conditions were reported by staff at the meeting.

The favorable recommendation completes the MPC's role in the local review process and moves the items to the County Commissioners for final action.
