DPZ team launches Jonesboro master growth plan, schedules public charrette March 30'April 3

The team held interviews with staff, conducted about thirty-minute one-on-one interviews with community members and convened a steering committee meeting of roughly 26 participants to help design public engagement.
DPZ said the public-engagement plan will include surveys, in-person outreach and a week-long charrette scheduled March 30 through April 3; the team will post information on the city's website and the Destination 100k project site when available. Matthew said drafting will proceed through the summer and that the consultants expect additional public review opportunities in early fall with a target to continue development of final drafts into early 2027 for formal consideration.
Council accepted the update and invited the team to return with the engagement website and schedule.
