The council adopted a resolution authorizing settlement of Jaheem McDermott v. Alicia D'Ansante and the City of New Rochelle Police Department (item 10). Later the council approved a resolution amending prior counsel authority to increase settlement authority related to a tort claim brought by Edward Rory O'Kane as father and natural guardian of AAO and other parties; the amendment increases prior settlement authority from $130,890 by an additional $100,000 to a total of $230,890.
