Jeffrey Jonathan Morris sought reappointment to Board No. 1 (seat 1) and recounted more than a decade of service handling cases ranging from single-family disputes to large hotel valuations. Nicholas Goldman (who corrected a prior typo) described legal and real-estate experience and said he was honored to be considered for Board No. 1 after joining Board No. 2 in January.
The committee moved to appoint/reappoint Morris and Goldman and voted unanimously to approve those appointments. Later, the committee heard from John Lee (seeking reappointment to Board No. 2), who noted workloads that have grown from a few thousand to over 10,000 cases annually and emphasized efficient hearing management. Mervyn Conlin and Susan Elizabeth 'Betsy' Miller each described years of experience on appeals boards and in appraisal or litigation work; the committee reappointed Lee, Conlin and Miller by unanimous vote.
For Item 5, James Reynolds (appraiser and hearing officer) spoke briefly and Allison Gibson spoke on behalf of Christine Nelson requesting an alternate seat on Board No. 3. President Mandelmann moved to forward Franco Cirelli (seat 1), James Reynolds (seat 4), and Christine Nelson (seat 6) and the committee approved the appointments without objection.
Each appointment was a consent-level action; the committee recorded no public commenters for these items and advanced the nominees to take the specified seats.
